Black Love is Black entrepreneurship, and Goldman Sachs is committed to Black Women business owners. In March 2021, the firm launched One Million Black Women (OMBW) a decade-long initiative that commits $10 billion in investment capital and $100 million in philanthropic support to impact the lives of at least one million Black women. This is the largest investment ever focused on narrowing opportunity gaps for Black women at every stage of their lives, from early childhood through retirement!

Earlier this year, in response to feedback in listening sessions from thousands of Black women entrepreneurs, Goldman launched One Million Black Women: Black in Business, a 10-week education program for Black women sole proprietors across the country that provides the tools necessary to turn business potential into sustainable business growth. Black in Business builds on Goldman’s longstanding commitment to small businesses through its signature program, 10,000 Small Businesses, which counts among its graduates Urban Hydration’s Founder Psyche Terry, who was a panelist at Black Love Summit!

In collaboration with Goldman Sachs, we’re shining a light on businesses they’re supporting. Check out these businesses below and visit Goldman Sachs and One Million Black Women to learn more about their initiative!
