Grab your wallets and support because this holiday season and beyond, Renae Bluitt is uplifting Black women business owners. The Brooklyn-based Founder’s brand “She Did That” cultivates spaces to support Black women on their entrepreneurship journey.

A recent article from J.P Morgan showed Black women are starting businesses faster than any racial group. Now more than ever, we need support to sustain and grow. She Did That is part of that support. Bluitt not only annually publishes her coveted Holiday Gift Guide featuring 75 Black women-owned brands, but she continues that work through her podcasts, her documentary as a filmmaker, and her in-person Holiday Baazar visited by hundreds across the tri-state area!

Black Love had the opportunity to attend this year’s Baazar presented by Cadillac and arrived in a room filled with Black girl magic, love, and true support among the attendees and the vendors supporting one another as they all strive towards the same goal — to thrive as business owners in a community. This is what sisterhood is about and Bluitt says that was in fact her goal.

“All of the work I do, from the documentary to the podcast and live events, goes back to one primary goal, which is to tell our stories and build a healthy ecosystem for Black women entrepreneurs,” says Bluitt, “She Did That” creator and executive producer.

“We just wrapped up year six for the Holiday Bazaar, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built. There were over 400 shoppers in the room and everyone who supports this event is intentional about where they’re investing their hard-earned dollars. They want to see our businesses thrive!”
