Vanessa Bell Calloway

Vanessa Bell Calloway has earned eight NAACP Image Award nominations. She won the NAACP Theater Award for Best Actress for her role as Zora Neale Hurston in her one-woman critically-acclaimed play “Letters From Zora”. Some of Calloway’s film roles include: “South Side With You”, “Coming to America”, “What’s Love Got to Do With It”, “Biker Boyz”, “Love Don’t Cost A Thing”, “Daylight”, and “The Inkwell”. Soon she’ll be featured in “Dragged Across Concrete”, starring Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn; in the Universal Studios feature “Unbroken: Path To Redemption;” as well as an independent thriller entitled, Thriller. Calloway is currently starring in Bounce TV’s one-hour hit-drama “Saint & Sinners”,now in its third season, and she directed a few of the episodes as well. She’s recurring in “Love Is,” a new series for OWN that will premiere in June. Calloway’s other TV credits are many, including: “Survivors Remorse,” “Shameless,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Hawthorne RN,” “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” “The Closer,” “NCIS,” and “Castle”…just to name a few.
