TOMMY OLIVER

As the co-creator of “Black Love Doc” and many film credits that capture Black family, Black unity, and the love for Blackness, Tommy Oliver doesn’t just limit those passions to the screen but exudes it through his everyday life as a father of three — Brooks (4), his oldest, and a set of twins Langston and Aristotle (2). Growing up without a father in his life, he committed himself to never making that an excuse to be anything but a great dad. He offers that finding a “dad gang” or support group is crucial in the process of navigating fatherhood and that no matter what, “operate from a place of love, support, and patience.”
