OmNoire is a global wellness platform for Black women and Women of Color who are dedicated to living their lives intentionally in wellness. OmNoire curates luxury retreats where women can feel safe and secure and tap into their healing goals while grounding within the community. OMNoire has multiple retreat options that are international and statewide. One of the local retreats is called The Well Read and Well Traveled Retreat and will be held from April 18-22, 2024. Inspired by the book “Before I Let Go,” OMNoire takes participants to Atlanta, Georgia, where they take you on a journey of hope and healing after loss. You are also able to explore Atlanta’s culture, food, art, and much more. During the retreat, the host, Emani Glee, will set up space for readers to dive deep within their own grief and together come up with ways to explore what it means to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Leisano Living

It is something about removing yourself from your familiar environment and taking a trip outside of your comfort zone. That feeling of freedom and letting go of what no longer serves you can truly do wonders to you emotionally and mentally. This organization was built on that same indescribable feeling. Leisano Living was founded on the idea that when it comes to wellness, the healing powers of travel can become a catalyst to choosing a healthier and more fulfilling way of life. From May 25-June 1, 2024, Leisano Living is having a mindfulness retreat on the island of Brac, Croatia. While on this retreat, you are able to connect with Croatia culture and nature, liberate your mind, challenge yourself by facing life’s problems, and nurture yourself from the inside out. Awaken your soul with Leisano.

The Whole Experience

Health is Wealth. When you make healthier choices, whether it is exercise or diet, you are one step closer to wellness. What started off as a random coffee chat in Bali, Indonesia, was the creation of the Whole Experience organization. This organization is built on women’s empowerment and making health the center of changing lives. The next retreat is just around the corner, and it is taking place in Costa Rica. What a dream to start the new year off in the wonders of Montezuma January 6-13, 2024. This retreat will feed attendees three vegetarian meals a day, daily movement boot camps, sound therapy, wellness workshops, essential oil-making class, etc.

The Escapism Retreat

When you hear the word escapism, it can be pretty self-explanatory. You are looking for an escape. It is an escape from the day-to-day mundane tasks and gives you a chance to take a different path temporarily. The Escapism Retreat, which was founded by Brandie Freely, was created for the free spirits to tap into adventure and seek inspiration away from the familiar. If this sounds like you, The next retreat will take place in Bali, Indonesia, June 22-28, 2024. During this retreat you can unplug, unwind, and be completely yourself without judgement or shame. You will participate in signature curated experiences, breathwork sessions, daily journal/reflective sessions, and the list goes on.

La Vida Divine Healing Institute

If you are looking for something different and have a fascination in the power of plants, then this retreat is for you. La Vida Divine Healing Institute is the world’s only BIPOC Queer-owned plant medicine retreat space. This retreat is located in Macas, Ecuador, and you can make your stay whenever you want. This institute provides multiple packages people can choose from. You are in charge of your own curated wellness experience. While in Ecuador, you will be immersed in high-quality nutrition experiences and will be able to witness traditional ceremonies from the locals. This retreat overall is to be inclusive and geared towards people taking more control of their journey towards health and wellness instead of the other way around.

Permission and Refuge

Kripalu, a center for yoga and health, is hosting a healing retreat for men of color in Stockbridge, MA, February 16-18, 2024. This retreat will be led by internationally recognized yoga and meditation teacher, activist, and the founder of Active Peace Yoga, Reggie Hubbard. Men will be able to experience a space for deep rest, soul searching, fun, and conscious conversations about the stresses that men carry on a daily basis. Usually men have to endure a lot of obstacles and keep the weight of the world on their shoulders. This retreat was made to finally lift the weight off and let go of all the burdens they may have. Men are given the space to find strength in vulnerability as well as community.
