Lawrence C. Ross

Lawrence Ross attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in 1985 via Alpha Epsilon chapter, and the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in History. Ross also has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in screenwriting from the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. Ross has also written articles and opinion pieces for CNN, USA Today, The Root, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Essence, and Ebony magazines. He has appeared on MSNBC, CNN, BBC America, National Public Radio, and on the John Fugelsang Show for XM radio. Ross lives in Los Angeles with his wife, April, and their son Langston, a senior at the ArtCenter College of Design.
