“The Perfect Find” premiered on Netflix this weekend, and we couldn’t be happier! Black Love had the pleasure of speaking with co-stars Gabrielle Union and Keith Powers ahead of Tribeca Film Festival where they won the AUDIENCE AWARD — yasss! They also shared during the premiere how the chemistry on set created a space for the chemistry between the two on film! Watching it was clear the entire cast truly enjoyed one another and the chemistry was not just on film, but also behind the scenes as depicted in these photos captured by producer Tommy Oliver!

When we asked the stars what makes this film stand out among other romcoms, they attributed the normalcy of the love story.
“We rarely get to see the platitudes of love. Normal love that goes through ups and downs. It’s not difficult, it’s not traumatic. When you are loved well and loved completely and completely seen — that love hits different,” said Union and Powers.
