On Wednesdays, Black Love features a couple’s first-person stories of why they said “I do.” While we know that marriage is not just about the wedding day but the life you share together, we want to know why you decided to walk down the aisle and take that step toward forever.
Why do we want to hear these love stories?
“I Do” encompasses the start of a marriage. It’s the first statement and declaration that we make to our spouses. We don’t just say “I Do” to them but we “I Do” to their families, in-laws, and all that comes with it.
What made you fall in love? How did love begin for you? Whether you’re newlyweds or have been married 50+ years, we want to know why you said “I Do.” For your story to be heard next? Email our Editor Yasmine Jameelah at yasmine@blacklove.com.
