Talented on stage and screen, singing, dancing, acting, and making us laugh for decades, Wayne Brady, was also showing up as Dad day in and day out. Now 18 years old, Wayne’s daughter Maile (pronounced like Miley) has taught him to be very intentional. His greatest feat in parenting his daughter, Maile, was finding the balance between being stern but also being a listening ear — doing away with the age-old idea that “children should be seen and not heard.” They sing and dance together and in 2020, while the world was collectively on lockdown, Wayne, Maile, Maile’s mom, Maile’s boyfriend entertained us all with TikTok dance videos proving that they are also the ultimate co-parents.
