Sisterhood is one of the most meaningful benefits of being a Black woman. From supporting each other as we follow our dreams, fixing each other’s crowns, sharing loud laughs in times of joy, or being a shoulder to cry on when we face adversity, we’re there. And while no relationship is perfect, in a world that doesn’t see our full value, it feels good to know that you have other Black women in your life who daily remind you that you’re loved. Since season one, fans have watched the ladies of “Sistas” show up for each other. Whether they’re catching up at the bar, getting in yoga before the day starts, or coming over at a moment’s notice when one of the girls is in need they have each other’s backs. So in honor of sisterhood, we’re showing love to some of our favorite sisters, and sharing why we love their bond.

Since the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant, Ciara and Lala have showed up for their best friend Vanessa Bryant consistently. “When you’re friends with somebody, you don’t have to try, you just do,” Anthony expressed in this People magazine interview. We love how these ladies have stuck together, they truly embody the statement there through thick and thin.

Anytime we can get a reunion from D3, we’re here for it. Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle’s Destiny’s Child days are behind them (but we’re secretly hoping for a reunion tour, right?) but we’re gushing over this moment with the ladies and Kelly’s youngest son, Noah who was born last year. We couldn’t be happier that they still make time for their big moments — together.
