How Celebrity Auto Broker Brandon Medford Balances Fatherhood and Entrepreneurship

Being the No. 1 auto broker in the country is a title I’m proud to hold, but it’s not the one I value the most. I’m a father first. Every car I broker for stars like Lil Durk, 50 Cent, Gucci Mane, GloRilla, Latto, and NBA player Obi Toppin is a testament to my hard work, but my real legacy lies in the example I set for my children.

As the founder of Price Too Good 365 and iFundYou, my professional life is demanding, yet my heart remains firmly anchored in fatherhood. “My career revolves around closing deals and helping clients achieve their dreams, but my true fulfillment comes from being present for my kids and watching them grow,” I often say.

My journey as an entrepreneur has been a whirlwind of achievements, but the moments I cherish most are those spent with my children. Whether it’s helping my daughters prepare for New York Fashion Week runway shows or taking my son courtside to New York Knicks games, these moments are priceless. For me, it’s not just about giving them a great life—it’s about being there for the big and small moments.

Time management is essential in my life. I work hard to protect family time. Whether it’s homework, a family outing, or simply catching up over dinner, I make sure my children know they are my top priority. I learned early on that success in business means nothing if I’m not successful at home. Supporting my children’s passions is equally important. My daughters have already made waves in the fashion world, and my son is just as ambitious in his interests. I want my kids to know that no dream is too big and that I’ll always be their biggest cheerleader.

Co-parenting has also been a crucial part of my journey. I credit the mothers of my children for their partnership. It takes a village, and I’m grateful for the teamwork we’ve built to give our kids the best life possible. This support system allows me to pursue my business ambitions while ensuring my children feel loved and secure.

Flexibility is another cornerstone of my approach. Running a business like iFundYou requires adaptability, and I bring that same mindset to my family life. If I have to reschedule a meeting to attend a school event or pivot plans for a spontaneous family moment, I do it. My kids come first. I also involve my children in my entrepreneurial journey. I talk openly with them about my work—the challenges and the triumphs. I want them to see firsthand that resilience, hard work, and creativity are what turn dreams into reality.

While my professional accolades bring recognition, it’s the role of fatherhood that brings me the greatest joy and purpose. The best part of my life isn’t being the No.1 auto broker—it’s being the No. 1 dad. 

As I look to the future, my focus remains on creating a legacy my children can be proud of. At the end of the day, it’s not about the cars or the deals; it’s about the love I pour into my family. Balancing fatherhood and entrepreneurship isn’t always easy, but it’s the most rewarding journey I’ve ever been on.

For me, the measure of success isn’t just in wealth or status—it’s in the bond I share with my children and the values I instill in them. My career may have its challenges, but my role as a father is the most important one I’ll ever have. As I often remind myself: My legacy isn’t about what I do; it’s about who I raise.
