On Sunday, August 29th, Black Love hosted The YOU Retreat, our first-ever women’s wellness event created by our founder Codie Elaine Oliver to feature dynamic women in conversation around their journeys. “I curated conversations with women I know that have been up — and down — so we can all hear how they got through their most difficult moments of self doubt.” The YOU Retreat was partially virtual with video newsletters emailed to almost 1,000 attendees daily during the week leading up to the in-person experience. The day of the live conversations, the retreat was complete with affirmation cards and tokens spread all over the beautiful venue, rosè and cocktails, and personalized portraits for guests! And let’s not forget the incredible speakers: Tabitha Brown, Melissa Fredericks, Mickey Guyton, Estelle, Tai Beauchamp, Angela Rye, Devi Brown, and Jeanette Jenkins.
Get a glimpse of the experience below and for the ladies who attended, save and share your photos! We thank you for making our first ever event for women an incredible one! If you post to social, tag us @blacklove #YOURetreat
